Alice to visit schools in the Ellon area!

Look out for Alice at your school in September. Most of the larger schools have booked her to take singing classes throughout the month so please be sure give her a warm welcome when you see her....and sing up in the workshops!

BAD WEATHER -

HCC and HCTVC: Remember in case of bad weather WE WILL NOT RING YOU. Please ring 01358 722977 after 5.00pm, or check the weather page here, to see if the rehearsal is cancelled or not. If you cannot make the rehearsal because of bad weather at your end, please leave a message saying so on that number. The rehearsal will go ahead with whoever can make it, unless Alice or Elaine are snowed in, or the forecast is extremely bad.

Members are reminded to treat their free folder of music with care, and replace it, if lost or damaged. It should be returned immediately if for any reason you decide to leave the choir. The music in the folder should only be marked with pencil, and replaced if lost. You need to bring a pencil with you to every rehearsal.
The secret of the Choir’s success is your commitment to rehearsals. You must understand the importance of attending every one. This avoids repetitive boring rehearsals covering the same ground week after week, and insures a polished unison performance at the end. Tuesday is 'Haddo Day', and everything else has to work around it! Please don't hesitate to call Alice (HYC/HCTVC) or Carol (HCC) if you have any problems.
